Chadha was interviewed at the time of Sundance about the movie and what it was like to grow up as a Springsteen fan.

How the filmmakers approached Springsteen and got his approval for the film was shared in brief detail here. The two also appeared at a screening hosted by Rolling Stone that included a Q&A hosted by a writer for the magazine who has also written a book about Springsteen.

There were a few profiles like this of Manzoor that offered up his story and his connection with the music featured in the film.
